Warren, Pennsylvania
Oakland Cemetery is one of Warren’s oldest and most historically significant burial grounds. Established in the late 19th century, the cemetery has served the community for more than a century as a peaceful, park-like resting place for generations of families, veterans, civic leaders, and community members.
The cemetery is operated as an independent nonprofit cemetery association and has been recognized as a tax-exempt organization since 1942. Its mission is to preserve the cemetery’s grounds, maintain accurate burial records, and ensure respectful, dignified care for all who rest here.
Oakland Cemetery is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for long-term planning, maintenance oversight, financial stewardship, and preservation of the cemetery’s historical character.
